Penalty Shootout
3 plays Published Oct 4, 2026 Version 3
Penalty Shootout: seal your shot or timed dive before the reveal. Five attempts, paired sudden death, solo bots, private local handoff and two-human online.
An original penalty shootout with hidden simultaneous decisions: place the shot, select its height and power, or choose a keeper lane and dive delay. More power shortens flight but raises the risk of missing the goal mouth. Both choices are sealed before the animated flight.
Five alternating attempts per team use early mathematical clinches. Ties continue in paired sudden death up to ten attempts each, then draw. Solo uses a bot that reads completed public shots only; ten-shot target practice reports goals, saves, wide shots and target hits. Two local humans take private handoffs: the other must look away. Shared-screen physical secrecy is not guaranteed.
Exactly two signed-in humans can play online. Salted SHA-256 commitments are exchanged before reveal, with a 15-second choice deadline. Results are casual and host-managed, unverified. Invalid reveals, connection loss and backgrounding abort without a winner. No ranked anti-cheat, live reconnection or host migration.
Display-sized goal geometry with bounded actor art, independent direction/height/power previews, external touch controls, English/Brazilian Portuguese help and original synthesized audio.
How to play
- Blue: A/D direction, W/S height; press Space to seal immediately; F remains an alias
- Solo/online: arrows also aim; Enter also seals; mouse aims at the goal and left click seals
- Blue adjustments: Q/E or 1/2 power; Z/C dive delay; R/T remain delay aliases
- Coral local: arrows direction/height, brackets power, comma/period delay; press Enter; independent choices and no mouse input
- Touch: role-specific sliders; release inside the separate Seal button; canceling does not commit
- Local: the other player looks away during each private handoff
- Escape closes Help or pauses/resumes solo/local while preserving the handoff; M mutes; native widgets keep their keys; landscape recommended, portrait supported
