Akari

Light Up (Akari), an original adaptation with twelve uniquely solved 5×5, 6×6 and 7×7 boards and seeded rotations/reflections. Walls stop light; bulbs illuminate orthogonal corridors and cannot shine on another bulb. Numbered walls require exactly their count of adjacent bulbs, including zero. Empty illuminated cells need no marking; crosses are optional notes. Click/tap directly toggles a bulb, right-click or a long touch toggles a cross. Standard cursor keys, Space, Esc, undo/redo and clear controls work without selecting a separate keypad action first. Solo includes optional counted hints. Exact local two-person boards use private handoff and separate active clocks. Online has exactly two, three or four signed-in humans racing the same puzzle for eight minutes; every submitted solution is rule-checked and solved boards rank by host-observed finish time. Unfinished boards tie last. Casual host-managed results are unverified; departure safely ends without a result, no reconnect or host migration.
